A Fanuc alpha 12/3000 AC servo motor in the -B075 configuration — keyed shaft, straight electrical and encoder connectors, no brake. The workhorse axis motor for Mori Seiki, Mazak, and Makino machining centers built between roughly 1994 and 2006.
We rebuilt this one in-house: new SKF bearings on both ends, resolver realigned to the manufacturer's phase reference, alpha-series serial encoder read out and verified against a calibrated drive. The stator windings megger clean at 500 VDC.
Fanuc still sells a modern equivalent, but the older alpha drives on the shop floor don't always play with the new part numbers without a firmware dance. If your machine wants an A06B-0143-B075, it wants this one.
